A family-friendly nature walk around the fields and woods between Blean and Tyler Hill
11am, Saturday 20th April
Start/Finish: St Cosmus and St Damian Church, Tyler Hill Road, CT2 9HU
Come and walk 2.5 km of our beautiful Blean, using established footpaths and the Crab and Winkle Way. Watch for the Skylarks singing in flight, and look for lots of other birds, insects and flowers. Follow our Guide Volunteers and you’ll be given a Nature Quiz to complete!
Please bring walking shoes, a picnic to eat after the walk, pen or pencil, and binoculars if you can.
Help us raise awareness of the wonderful wildlife and biodiversity of the area north of the University of Kent, which is under threat due to a massive housing and commercial development proposed in the Canterbury Local Plan.
Due to numbers and the picnic afterwards, we are asking people to please leave dogs at home.
