Take Part in Our Blean Bio Park Survey!

Many thanks to all who attended the Save The Blean community meeting at Blean Village Hall, where we presented our vision for a new country park for Canterbury and North Kent, Blean Bio Park: A Haven for Nature, Heritage and Community. 55 people attended and there were lots of great questions from the audience.

We have been working with Kent Wildlife Trust and other partners to develop a pioneering use for the land north of UoK that will benefit the whole district. We are now reaching out to a wider group of stakeholders and we want to get the community’s input. If you live anywhere in Canterbury or near the Blean, tell us what you think!

Blean Bio Park could be many things… a country park with fascinating heritage at its heart, accessible nature trails to boost your wellbeing, areas of reforestation and rewilding, agriculture to protect our food supply…
